Dota 2 patches continue to lower the “comeback” gold

You could politely say the Dota 2 community has been “divided” on the 6.82 changes that provide extra assist gold for the losing team. The numbers are being tweaked, thankfully, with two patches over the last two days massively nerfing the amount received.
Yesterday’s Dota 2 patch: “Slightly reduced AoE Gold bonus Net Worth Factor for 1 hero kills from 0.5 to 0.38″
I’m not even going to attempt to use maths this because my head will explode as you need a Master’s degree in a heavy mathematics branch to calculate this, but I think this reduces the gold value to something like a quarter of what it was when the patch went live. I think this is possibly down to the devs watching i-league and noticing how utterly insane some of the comebacks have been.
I like the idea of this mechanic, but I really dislike the execution right now. The other changes in the initial 6.82 patch have heavily nerfed the 6.81 early game/snowballing tactics, so I’m not quite sure an extra mechanic this severe is really essential.
Of course, the patch only went live earlier this week, so it’s way too soon to actually tell how much this needs to be changed. Time will tell, but the urgency of these patches indicates that Valve thinks something is broken.

Inzaghi: Time on El Shaarawy's side at Milan

The Rossoneri coach has urged the 21-year-old Italy international to remain patient, insisting lulls in form are inevitable at his age
The 21-year-old Italy international has been restricted to two appearances and was an unused substitute in Milan's last two outings, having started the 1-0 home defeat to Serie A champions Juventus last month.
Ahead of Chievo's visit to San Siro on Saturday, Inzaghi claims that the host of attacking reserves at his disposal feature among the reason's for El Shaarawy's quiet period, but he insists the player remains a key part of his plans.
"When I arrived I thought about the 4-3-3 formation for him as it brings the best out of his qualities," Inzaghi explained.
"I respect him a lot and he had a great match versus Lazio. Then he had an injury. I made him play against Juventus as a sign of how much I rate him.
"We have seven players up front. Unfortunately it’s hard to leave three on the bench. I will try to send four out on the pitch.
"At Cesena I wanted to play El Shaarawy in the second half, but then we saw what happened. He's doing well and the fitness that he had at the start of the season is back. It will be down to me to choose the best line up.
Inzaghi added: "Let's not forget his age. It's normal to have highs and lows at this age.
"He's in an environment that loves him and that rates him highly. It's down to me to cultivate his talent.
"I need to give precedence though to the team and not the individual. I always choose for the good of the team. Everybody is important."
