The Fantastic 4: Fake Josh Trank Twitter Account Fools Many At One Go

A fake Josh Trank account surfaced on Twitter and it looked so real that even top personalities from the Twitterverse were fooled by it. The director of the upcoming movie Fantastic Four discussed many details about the film on Twitter before it was confirmed to be only a prank.
Comic exploring sites like Comic Book Resources and Bleeding Cool also fell for the trick. They later announced that the director’s account was indeed a fake one. With less than a year to go before this reboot of Marvel’s Fantastic Four hits the theaters, the buzz for the movie increases every day.
The film was shot earlier this year in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The film will star actors Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic and Kate Mara as Invisible Woman while Super villain Doctor Doom will be played by Toby Kebbel.
The person who made the fake Twitter handle apparently released information about how “The Thing” will look like this time. Although it is unusual for directors to reveal important information about their upcoming movies, many people genuinely believed whatever trivia was revealed on the social networking site.
But the good news is that, the prank has finally been called off after being detected by the marketing unit of the 20th Century Fox movie. The film was announced around five years ago and work began some two years back.
The Fantastic 4 Movie
