MILANELLO - President Silvio Berlusconi made his ninth visit of the season to Milanello on Friday afternoon. The President arrived at around 13.40 (local time) and after getting out of the Audi in which he travelled in, his first words were:"What a beautiful day."
Once inside the club’s training centre, he showed his guests a photo of the club’s headquarters Casa Milan and took great pride in saying to them: "The most beautiful headquarters belonging to a football club in the world. Work of my daughter Barbara".
Before having his lunch, the President went to the dining area with his daughter Barbara and head coach Filippo Inzaghi to see the playing squad. As has become the custom, the President gave a speech and afterwards the players all gave him a round of applause. Berlusconi also had the chance to come acrossRiccardo Montolivo inside the Club House at Milanello giving him the opportunity to speak about the club captain’s rehabilitation and comeback from injury.
The President then had lunch with his guests, daughter and head coach Filippo Inzaghi at Milanello. While his daughter made her way towards Casa Milan at 17.25, the President preferred to stay a little longer at the Club House to admire photos of the team’s legendary line-ups and their great triumphs in Europe.
Berlusconi left Milanello at 17.40 and in doing so brought to an end his ninth visit of the season which lasted 4 hours.
